LinkCommand User Manual
View Incoming Links
The View Incoming Link reports shows the
status of each link:
· New
· Verifying
· Broken
· Reciprocated
Links marked as New have not yet been
verified. Reciprocated links are those that
LinkCommand has found and validated
during the validation process. Broken links
are those that LinkCommand has not been
able to find during the validation process.
Verifying means the verification process is
currently running.
Status text is clickable and will launch a pop-
up window showing a log file of the entire
verification process to date.
IP and PageRank fields are for future features.
If a link is verified as Missing, it is good
practice to manually check the link, particularly
if the link has been verified in the past. To
facilitate this process both the link partner's
home page and Top level link page are
hyperlinks. Clicking on either of them will
launch the page in a new window.
Links that are truly Missing may be deleted by
pressing
. This function will not
remove the physical link that may reside on
another website, but rather delete the record
from LinkCommand for the active Campaign.
